Dr Ben Xouris graduated from Charles Sturt University Orange with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2015 and has since worked at both the Port Kembla and Warrawong practices.

During his time at University, Dr Ben was the President of the Student Dental Association and had the opportunity to work with the Royal Flying Doctor Service treating patients in Bourke, Collerinebei and Lightning Ridge.

Dr Ben is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and is currently the Secretary of the South Coast Division of the ADA NSW Branch.

Dr Ben provides general dental care with a strong focus on preventative dentistry and has a special interest in paediatrics, restorative and implant dentistry. Dr Ben is also involved in tutoring dental students at Charles Sturt University Orange.

In his spare time, Dr Ben enjoys cooking, travelling and can be found passionately supporting the St George Illawarra Dragons during the NRL season.

Dr Kate Xouris graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Charles Sturt University Orange in 2013 and has since been working in our Warrawong and Port Kembla practices alongside her father (Dr Nick Xouris), uncle (Dr Leo Thanos) and brother (Dr Ben Xouris).

Dr Kate is a member of both the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

Dr Kate provides general dental care encompassing an array of treatments and procedures but has a keen interest in oral surgery and paediatrics and also enjoys the management of dental anxieties/phobias. Dr Kate also offers the option of treatment under General Anaesthetic at the Wollongong Day Surgery.

Outside of work, Dr Kate spends her time performing in musical theatre productions in the Sutherland Shire and Greater Sydney region, and has played Velma Kelly in “Chicago” and “Lauren” in Kinky Boots.

Dr Leo Thanos graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1992 and has been practicing in the Illawarra region ever since. Dr Leo is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) as well as the Australian Dental Association (ADA) where he has held the position of Treasurer of the South Coast Division of the ADA NSW Branch for a number of years.

Dr Leo provides general dental care, including treatment in our Warrawong surgery under conscious sedation (“Penthrox”), as well as treatment under General Anaesthetic at Wollongong Day Surgery.

Dr Leo has the pleasure of treating multiple generations of families and feels honoured to have been a part of their lives for the past 30 years. Dr Leo’s wife is also in the medical profession and together they have three beautiful teenage daughters. They enjoy spending weekends sharing their love of Triple J, as well as cheering on the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Dr Joe Giuttari graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) from the University of Sydney in 1981 and has been practicing in the Illawarra region for almost 40 years. Dr Joe is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the current President of the South Coast Division of the ADA NSW Branch.

Dr Joe provides general dental care but has a special interest in providing implant dentistry and prosthodontic dentistry (the replacement of missing teeth). Dr Joe is fluent in Italian and well-known amongst the Italian community in Wollongong.

In his spare time, Dr Joe enjoys a good bottle of red wine and eating delicious food and can be found playing tennis or running a marathon.
